Block printing workshop
We will go to Mr. Khans little factory in his house in the old city, surrounded by all dyers caste muslims. We sit with the people and see the demostration that also includes your participation in the act and make your own samples to carry back home.
Carved wood blocks are used in this technique, the blocks are dipped in colors and then pasted on the cloth to give design. It takes a lot of skill to place the blocks in a clean harmonic line.
